EnerVision, Inc. announces that Robert D. Steele has recently joined the EnerVision Team as Business Manager after retirement as the Chief Financial Officer of Cobb EMC. Prior to Cobb EMC, Robert was employed as a Vice President with Oglethorpe Power Corporation; the Atlanta based power supply cooperative serving 38 electric membership corporations in Georgia. Robert’s career at Oglethorpe spanned over 22 years and he held management positions in Accounting, Planning, Economic Development, Government Relations and Public Relations. Prior to Oglethorpe Power, Robert worked at the Accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co.
Mr. Steele is a Certified Public Accountant and has a BBA degree in Accounting from North Carolina Central University. He has held board memberships with of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, The Clean Air Campaign, The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, The Regional Leadership Forum, Georgia Workforce Investment Board, and Georgia Shakespeare.
Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Robert and his wife, Kathy, live in Roswell, Georgia, they have two grown children.
