EnerVision Announces the Addition of Vice President – Randy Brecheisen

EnerVision, Inc. announces that Mr. Randy Brecheisen has recently joined the EnerVision Team as Vice President of New Technologies after serving 24 years as President and CEO of Piedmont EMC, a North Carolina electric cooperative.

While at Piedmont EMC, Randy spearheaded strategic programs such as advanced meters, outage maps and reporting, services for cooperative members to access their account information through web portals, immediate communication through social media, and programs that support renewable energy for members including a community solar program.

Randy’s career comprises more than 42 years in the electric utility industry. Prior to joining Piedmont EMC, Randy was Senior Vice President and a Founding Principal of an electric, natural gas, and water utility consulting firm. He has testified as an expert witness on various matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and numerous State Regulatory Commissions, and spent six years with Duke Energy in an assortment of management related positions.

Mr. Brecheisen holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in Engineering Operations and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University. Randy has served on the Board of Directors for numerous companies including all Officers positions on the Board of Directors of NC Electric Membership Corporation, President of the Board of Directors of Diversified Energy and Vice Chairman of the Board of Advanced Energy Corporation.

Randy’s skills will broaden EnerVision’s range of services to assist our clients to best meet their power related needs in today’s constantly changing energy industry adding expertise in the New Technologies area.
