January 1, 2014 – Atlanta, GA – EnerVision, a management and technical consulting firm servicing public and private electric utilities, announces two new officers and a refocus of its business lines.  “The owners of EnerVision recently discussed the future of the energy industry and redesigned our internal structure to better service our clients.  Also, in practicing what we preach, we had a secondary focus which is our own succession planning,” said Elaine Johns, President/CEO.

Mr. Carter Babbit has been named Vice President, Power Supply and will lead the accountability of the Power Supply business line which includes EnerVision’s service of power supply planning, procurement, contract negotiations, and contract administration.  EnerVision’s support of clients’ transmission-related needs and regulatory compliance needs are also included in this business line.  Carter brings extensive power supply experience as he has led EnerVision’s efforts with primary clients in North Carolina and parts of Georgia.  A graduate of Georgia Tech, Carter has been with EnerVision for 15 years.

Mr. Joshua Warmack has been named Vice President, Emerging Energy Solutions and will lead the accountability of EnerVision’s new business line, Emerging Energy Solutions, which has been formed to address the “Utility of the Future” issues which will affect the electric utility industry.  This business line focuses on distributed generation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, demand response, pricing & rates, technology, and customer engagement.  Josh is a Certified Energy Manager and brings experienced end-user planning and analytical knowledge.  Josh, a graduate of Georgia Tech, has been with EnerVision for 10 years.
