Nelson G. Hawk
Chairman
Mr. Nelson
Hawk has over 38 years of electric utility experience. He is the
Chairman of the Board of EnerVision, Inc. Besides managing Board activities, Mr. Hawk's
main duties are to spearhead business development activities and perform
value-added work for EnerVision's clients. Mr. Hawk was instrumental in the
development and implementation of a green power program for cooperatives in the state of
Georgia. Mr. Hawk has led EnerVision in
providing technical and analytical skills to identify, evaluate and
negotiate power purchase agreements with renewable energy projects.
He also provides technical expertise to statewide organizations in support of
energy efficiency and renewable energy topics.

Elaine H. Johns
President/CEO
Ms. Elaine
Johns has over 23 years of consulting experience in areas ranging from
strategic planning, power supply planning, utility rates, marketing, and
economic analysis. She is the President/CEO of EnerVision, Inc. where
she leads the company's nationwide consulting efforts. She also provides overall leadership and direction for the
company’s Power Supply Practice Area. Under her direction, EnerVision
staff performs power supply support services for electric cooperatives in
Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana and
Michigan. |

Barry Birkett
Vice President
Mr. Birkett
has over 25 years of broad electric utility experience, with specialization
in rates and pricing; power supply analysis and negotiations; and contract
administration. His background is unique, with experience in all of these
areas from the perspective of both the buyer and seller at the wholesale and
retail levels. He leads EnerVision’s analytical services activities, lending
his expertise to projects that serve a
variety of client needs and also heads the Financial & Pricing Services
practice area. In addition, Mr. Birkett has led or been a key
player in the negotiations of major power supply agreements benefiting a
number of cooperatives with power purchases under these agreements valued
in the tens of billions of dollars. |

Tom Siegrist
Vice President
Mr.
Siegrist has over 30 years of diverse electric utility experience including
electric system operations, design and planning, power contract negotiations
and management and strategic planning. Mr. Siegrist leads EnerVision's
T&D System Services practice area. He is also
responsible for new business development and acts as a senior liaison with
client executives. Mr. Siegrist’s recent projects include analyses of
various technical issues with
the Georgia Integrated Transmission System, and
the potential impacts of Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs), Independent
System Operators (ISOs), and new electric reliability standards from FERC on electric
utilities. He also works with
utilities to integrate distributed generation, direct load control and
renewable resource projects into their daily power mix.

Michael Whiteside
Vice President
Mr. Michael Whiteside recently joined our organization as Vice President of
Business Development.
Michael's skills broaden EnerVision’s range of services to assist
our clients best meet their power related needs in today’s constantly
changing energy industry.
Michael recently retired from Coweta-Fayette EMC, a Georgia electric
cooperative, with more than 35 years of service, after reaching the position
of President/CEO within that organization. Michael attended Middle
Georgia College, DeKalb Technical School and Georgia State University.
After graduating, he worked as a consulting engineer for the Southern
Engineering Company of Georgia prior to joining Coweta-Fayette EMC in 1974.
Along with serving as President/CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC, Michael was also
President/CEO of Relyco Resources, Inc.—a commercial/residential security
subsidiary, President/CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas, Inc.—with
20,000+ gas customers, and President of Green Power EMC—an
organization of
38 participating Georgia EMCs that offer renewable energy from
Georgia resources. |
